CowPie.biz Search (meta search) is prepaired to set the stage for a genuine site search, all without the intrusive paid listings that don't contain any real content covering up or on top of the general index listings.

We're not at all interested in fancy secret algo's or in providing any other hoops that webmasters/site owners/developers have to jump through in order to get listed highly.
Site ranking will have nothing to do with link popularity or page rank.
If you have a well constructed and optimized website, then you will be listed highly. If you don't, then you wont.

Site submissions are free and require that you only provide your website url.

Since this is *Meta Search, any site description provided when submitting a website will be discarded as the robot indexes what a webmaster has written in the *description Meta Tag.

Our search parsing robot is robots.txt compliant - UA; CowPie.biz/company.htm; (SlobberDawg5.01; crawl)

Site ranking will depend on only these things in order to be placed highly:
keyword/keyword phrase, title and description;
Keyword density on each page p****d;
Page load speeds;
Relative content;
Cross browser compatibilty.

CowPie.biz is privately held and is owned by webshoppehosting.com; Great Falls Montana. The index is edited by real humans. New submissions are appearing in the general index within 24 hours at this time.

We will not list sites just for the sake of listing them. We feel that listing high quality websites far outweighs any particular quantity of websites.

Our overall target audiance will be a general mix or blend of the casual online web surfer and sites we list will be pop-up free.
Our site mains will update every day and ranking listings will update every 14 days for the next 90 days, and every 30 days after that.

Demographics in part has shown that poor listings at some of the major search databases online are causing the regular web surfer to look for other alternative search sources.

Paid advertising or paid "placements" will only appear in the extreme right of any of our index pages and will not be placed over the top of any general listings. It is our belief that webmasters work very hard for their placements in the general index, so we will oblige them by "not" covering their top listing with any paid ads or placements.

CowPie.biz Search mains are updating sometimes 15 times a day while we are posting results and populating the database.
We are currently adding/editing data collected over the past 90 days (from The Dawg) to the database, while at the same time, parsing new sites.

CowPie Classifieds, Personals, Weather, News and Media are currently undergoing developement and will be up and running within 90 days and before our official launch June 1 2005
