Please help with hosting

For most I think you should go with Linux based hosting. It will have PHP support along with MySQL support. Those are the most popular right now and I really think it would fit your needs.

I know this from experience because I started out with a shared hosting plan with my current host that was on the Linux platform and it worked out great. Linux is very open source and reliable too.

MySQL is running on my laptop, which is not connected to the network, I can run MySQL and most databases and tables.

MySQL is functioning on my laptop which is not adjunctive to the net, i can run MySQL and add databases and tables. Does this average it is not coupled to another multitude?
