Default eHosting or Hostway?

Hi,

Looking at getting a VPS solution and wondered what people thought of eHosting and Hostway. Hostway is a lot more expensive than eHosting, but from what I have heard there reputation is very good.

Has anybody had any experiences with eHosting?

Many thanks in advance,
Mark

No i havent heard anything about eHosting. But I have heard good things about VPS providers like Solarvps,Knownhost and powervps. Check in public forums to collect reviews.

I would advise you to stay away from eHosting. I have been using them for shared hosting for a couple of months and have had nothing but trouble. I would say that my site is down at least once a day, sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes for a few hours, either through problems with their network/firewall or the server. They claim to have 24/7 support however I have raised numerous tickets out of office hours and at weekends, sometimes my ticket doesn't get looked at until office hours the following morning/next working day. If my ticket does get looked at there never seems to be anyone there capable of fixing the problem until the next working day.

Mark,

ehosting seems to have been losing clients like a leaky bucket since late last year. I'd probably agree with the sentiment to stay away until doing a bit more research.

I would recomend you have a look at eurovps, vpsland, A2hosting.com.
In any case your decision always depend on the your needs. Make sure that RAM issues are different in each company
