I just noticed that the company Rackspace is offering its committment to meet a 5-criteria promise to deliver support to customers. I don't know of any other hosting company that has gone this far to guarantee good service to its customers.
Well, basically Rackspace seem to be saying that they will sort out any problems that arise, or you can walk away from the contract. It looks like a guarantee that they will make their customers happy. You will have to read the details at the link I gave, as I don't think they will appreciate me copying it all here.
