100% right!! I run http://www.Mixcat.net a free web host.
If I didn't take advantage of the 404 error traffic I couldn't afford to run a Dual CPU Servers to offer Free hosting to my members.. But honestly Free costs someone money. Down the line the host pays to try to aquire traffic or future customers.. Some even try to do optin mailers to convert them into some type of sale. We use a combo of google ad words and 404 error page traffic to pay for the server fees.. Sure helps when you own your own DC ;o)
