Looking for a dedicated server, but...

Hello to everyone.

I own a reseller account but my desire is to move to a dedicated server (Linux with cPanel for my clients).

MY DOUBT IS THIS:

Cause of my small wisdom on management and root access, im looking for a company/provider that offers dedicated servers but with the managment from their end.

Perhaps a dedicated server isn't what you need then. Dedicated servers require you to know something about the operating system because not all of what a customer may want to do is done through the control panel. Try a "REAL" reseller account on a linux platform, one that allows you to do what you want to do with clients, and get support.

A Linux reseller account at vianetworks.net gives you shell access, allows you to create a service package which you can reuse over and over, and manage quotas etc. You can even specify whether your clients get shell access or not. Thats my suggestion, if your dead set on a managed dedicated linux server good luck, not sure if that is something I would even want to try to support.

Yes, cheap but very powerful in what you can do with them. When you get a couple of accounts, contact them and get them lumped into a reseller plan. They can move the accounts under one management console where you can make your own service packages and upgrade/downgrade them at will.

You should try purchasing servers form servermatrix.com or ev1servers.net .

They really provide a very good support and will manage your server too !!
