ftp folder permission help
Hi all,
I'm using Hostway for my web hosting...I'm having a few issues with a form on my website. I'm pretty new to this but I think I'm learning quickly.
I've created a form and I'm testing to be sure everything is working. When I click Submit, I get my confirmation email just fine but I'm not getting the info that was entered in the form itself. I'm not sure if I have some value incorrect in the FormMail.pl script.
Another issues is with file permission on the Hostway server. I've been working with tech support from Hostway but they are not really helping matters. They tell me the permission of the FormMail.pl file should be 751 (and they set it to 751 for me) but when i look at the permission of all the files and folders its 777...for all of them. If I try to change any of them it just goes back to 777.
Can anyone clarify this for me?
