Google to Begin Web Hosting?

Wikipedia posted the following page on February 11 - it has since been ammended to remove the reference and quote from the blog link. I have compared the 2 versions below - that's why you see some duplicate text. You can see the current version at:

Google is just donatin the server but not starting any hosting services for we consumers !!

However know one knows when google starts competiting with hosting companies ?

yeah absolutely... i mean just look at gmail... i friend of mine forwarded himself a lot of stuff and filled up his mailbox.. it really is 2 gigs and increasing

I'm wondering what would happen if ALL gmail users do that

Well yahoo do it so I do not see a reason Google not to enter in the hosting market.
