FASTHOSTS - Unlawful Charging
Beware of unlawful charging by Fasthosts.
They have started charging people 23.50 late payment / debt recovery charges. Now I have taken legal advice and have been advised that this charge is unlawful. Fasthosts (as usual) are very unhelpful and just send out a standard email saying that they are allowed to do this.
Now I am hoping that Fasthosts are going to refund the money as they are legally required to do so. Obviously if they don't I will be pursuing this with court action and will inform my credit card company that my card has been charged fraududently.
So if you are a Fasthosts customer and you have been charged do not settle for this and do not accept the rubbish replies you will receive pursue this all the way.
Not only will Fasthosts have to refund the money they have to pay court costs.
Fasthosts, you used to be a really friendly company. What's happened and stop making unlawful charges.
