Domain extortion
There was another interesting thread that i saw today on a smaller, less known web hosting discussion board (heehee), where the discussion centered around the extortion of domain names - that is, a company tries to sell you the '.org' version of your own name for an exorbitant price.
Personally i feel that this is shameless - has anybody else experienced anything similar. I've seen it go on with advertising contracts where companies sign long term commitments and break the contract just so that they can get the 12 month rate for 1 month.
