The term unlimited, is used by hosting companies just to attract clients. Providing unlimited resources is practically not possible.
The choice between a reseller and a dedicated server will depend primararily on your requirements. If you have a small client base and require less resources, you can very well opt for the reseller packages. In case you have huge resource requirements, like those provided on a dedicated server, you can opt for the dedicated server.

this is no truth,they are not unlimited for instance if they hit full diskspace they will need another dedicated with more space so they have to shut down untill will move to new dedicated server.
