Technical Support Reps needed - Website Support
InMotion Hosting is looking to fill positions in the Technical Support Office in Virginia Beach. Our customer base expanding quickly and we are looking for right people help us continue our superior level of support.
We are seeking talented and motivated individuals for our technical support department. Applicants should possess a strong willingness to help, good communication skills, and a love for computers and the web. Linux experience is a plus. Individuals who have worked with Linux in the past or who run Linux on their home computer are often a good fit for our team. If this is you, we look forward to hearing from you. Background in technical support is not required, but it is helpful.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of web hosting as a user.
* Working knowledge of web browsers, FTP, POP/IMAP, Linux file systems, domain names, etc.
Preferred Skill Sets:
* Experience with Cpanel and Web Host Manager (WHM)
* Installation and modification of Apache, Bind, DNS, PHP, MySQL, Perl
Duties:
* Provide support to customers over the phone, email, and chat
* Assist customers with web site problems such as software integration, FTP, site building, and email
