*CHAT TECHNICIAN*

Starting Wage: $10.00 hourly
Job Location: Boca Raton, Florida
Positions Available: 8
Shifts Available: Daylight / Evening / Midnight

Duties:
Chat technicians are required to work on-site at HostGator.com's Boca Raton office. Support and Sales chats will be conducted via onsite consoles and utilized to assist clients with service needs. Chats are performed primarily through online chat applications, however will grow into phone and ticket based procedures in the future. Applicants should be able to comfortably assist clients in a high paced support environment while troubleshooting system administration tasks. Hosting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities Include:

- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Excellent multi-tasking abilitites including phone, chat, ticket administration
- Linux OS server experience with basic knowledge of php, html, and mysql operations
- General troubleshooting abilities including FTP, Email, WHM, CPanel, and other basic hosting areas
- Previous experience in the webhosting field utilizing Cpanel / WebHost Manager interface
- Ability to manage multiple project assignments
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in an 'on-call' environment
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to comfortably interact with clients
- Desire to advance within our team
