According to the story the attack would allow an attacker to log on to an account within 9 attempts. The attack relies on a keylogger being installed on the victim's machine. The article doesn't have any further technical details." David Nicholson adds links to coverage at CNN and at the Guardian, writing "The attack revolves around the order that customers are requested to enter random security numbers on the site. i'm not surpriced when the systems like FBI and CIA cam be hacked why not and HSBC, but keep you network more secure

Not just their on-line banking fails, but their wide-ranging dirty tactics. I lost my US$50,000.00 on their bank and they refuse to answer how it lost.

I am with HSBC, and i have been fine with them. I have had no issues using their offline and online banking systems.

I quite like the system and the HSBC Business Banking security is very good and i like the security that it works with.
