FastServers.Net operates in two locations. Their Midwest Data Center is located in Cedar Falls, IA and their West Coast Data Center is located in Fremont, CA.
FastServers.Net leases floor space from realtors and provisions the necessary resources such as server hardware and network services.
Features
The Midwest Data Center features a disaster free and ultra secure location. Based in Iowa, the Midwest Data Center is far and away from natural disasters, terrorists, and man-made threats. The most significant element of this data center is the ability to provision power and cooling throughout the facility. Each cabinet is supplied with 40AMPS of power and has the ability to have up to 80AMPS of power.
All routers and networking equipment is brand new. FastServers has provisioned the Dell PowerEdge series of servers to customers direct from Dell.
Guarantee
FastServers.Net manages a fully redundant network with 100% Uptime Guarantee. FastServers.Net will refund the customer 5% of the monthly fee for each 30 minutes of downtime (up to 100% of the customer's monthly fee). FastServers.Net supplies N+1 redundancy on all components in the data center including power, cooling, and network service.
Back-Up Systems
Additionally, the center maintains dual diesel generators with contracts with local fuel companies. With the proper contracts in place they have the ability to run for an infinite amount of time.
