  • Features
Totaling 400,000 sq ft of industry-leading data center space, Hostway's data centers are Carrier independent, maintain multiple OC-48, OC-12, and GigE connections to the Tier 1 Internet backbone providers; Cisco, Foundry, Juniper networking gear, Diesel generators, FM200 and Pre-action, dry sprinkler system.

Hostway will be opening a state-of-the-art data center in Chicago's Boeing Building July 2006.

All of Hostway's equipment is on a strict maintenance schedule to ensure they are within operating parameters.

    Guarantee
Hostway's uptime guarantee and compensation varies depending on customers' needs. They will work with customers on an individual basis to determine the necessary uptimes and the required resources to guarantee these uptimes. Based on those requirements, Hostway and the customer will reach a mutually agreed upon compensation schedule.

    Back-Up Systems
To provide back up power in case of power failure, Hostway uses diesel generators at their data centers. The actual size and capacity of the generators vary from data center to data center.
